The ACA Hurricane 130/130 MKII is a distinct supercharged siren designed to compete with the Federal Signal Thunderbolt Model 1000. This siren was brought into production in 1968 and ending production in 1981 in favor of the Penetrator 50. The original horn being square was NOT in-fact discontinued due to the resemblance of the Thunderbolt horn, BUT in-fact discontinued due to the poor performance of the horn.
The Hurricane 130 produced 126 to 127dB, while MKII the successor produced 130 dB.
